Grades
Grade 1 Prep
For dancers Ages 7-10
Basic Ballet Technique. Little or no prior experience required
Grades 1 - 5
For dancers aged 8 yrs +
Pre-requisite based on previous grade exam or class award and/or at Teachers discretion
Grade 6 - 8
For dancers aged 12 yrs +
Pre-requisite based on previous grade exam or class award and/or at Teachers discretion
Vocational
Intermediate Foundation & Intermediate
For dancers Ages 12+
Experienced Ballet Technique.
Enrollment at Teachers discretion or successful exam of previous level/grade
Advanced Foundation, Advanced & Advanced 1
For dancers Ages 14+
Experienced Ballet Technique.
Enrollment at Teachers discretion or successful exam of previous level
Pre-Pointe & Pointe
Pre-Pointe for ages 10+ to help strengthen and prepare for pointe work.
Pointe for ages 12+ - at teachers discretion.
Must be taking at least 2 ballet and a technique class to be considered for Pointe work.
Open Ballet
Little to no experience necessary. Ages 10+
Classes will be taught at a Gr 3/4 level so if they wish to join regular classes, they will not be behind.
